Nadal and Charlatan won their respective divisions of the Arkansas Derby 2020.

Originally set to run on April 11, the Arkansas Derby (G1) at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Ark., has been postponed to May 2. The race will take place on the closing day of the 2020 live meet. There is an impressive list of Arkansas Derby entries set for the thoroughbred horse race for three-year-olds, which will run over a distance of nine furlongs on dirt. In fact, due to the high number of entrants, the race was split in two divisions, both with a $500,000 purse.

During a time when many races are being canceled or postponed until a much later date, the Arkansas Derby has been able to keep the changes at a minimum. While it has been postponed, it was only by about three weeks.
